AKC's Safety Education Program for Children
"Since dogs are an important aspect of children's lives, the American Kennel Club believes every child should be taught how to behave safely around dogs." The American Kennel Club.
If you are interested in having the safety program offered to your group, please contact HPHP for details. There is no cost associated with this presentation.
The Safety program is scheduled by request.
AKC Canine Good Citizen
Before taking the Canine Good Citizen test, owners will sign the Responsible Dog Owners Pledge. We believe that responsible dog ownership is a key part of the CGC concept and by signing the pledge, owners agree to take care of their dog's health needs, safety, exercise, training and quality of life. Owners also agree to show responsibility by doing things such as cleaning up after their dogs in public places and never letting dogs infringe on the rights of others.

HPHP will be offering the following basic obedience class.
When: March 13, through April 24, 2012
Location: SHSU Ag Center (I-45 Feeder at Avenue M)
Time: 6:30 - 7:30
Cost: $60
AKC Canine Good Citizen Test to be administered at the last class.
