Enjoy reading about our registered therapy animals. Each of these animals is a family member. When they are not working, they enjoy the comfort and companionship of their home and family. These wonderful animals enjoy visiting friends at nursing homes, giving comfort to hospital patients (and staff), listening to children read and teaching students about being safe around dogs. They are comfortable in crowds and around strangers.
Our dogs are so comfortable visiting that the handlers have often jokingly been told that the dogs could just be dropped off at the door of the facilities (after all they don’t drive) and be picked up when the visit is finished. However, the handler and animals are a team and they are always together on a visit.
